horizontal layout was choosen becuz of human nature that can view more horizontally and cuz of increasing use of widescreens
However the layout can be changed in no time for a normal vertical layout having the rounded edged triangle boxes aligned vertically one after another and added with a deck like column for feed etc on the right hand side

This design is made considering that the portion showing the main posts (the central portion) will scroll horizontally or may be other way independently without the top and the bottom portions
The post in which britney is will coming out this is to show that if you like you can add a roll over and when a mouse rolls over the post it will slightly enlarge (not shown) and will come out
If I could I will post another preview for the single posted page here are some different color variation of the home page
