actually, I think I can handle the cutting-up of the images, etc. I most need the help with the CSS for HTML form items (in the main content).
one thing: can you make leftnav graphics for "Search" and "My Account" -- here's a good example:

cheers!

can you let me have some details as to how you need images sliced for your template or do you have a sample of your template?
thanks

I have toned down the background image in the main area, hopefully it's acceptable now, otherwise I may just need to remove it altogether.
Also, I have included two sets of icons, but I don't know if I got the google bubble icon right- If this isn't right, could you please provide ...(

I really like this!
- sorry re:roman siding-- I meant the decorative border above and to the left of the Main Content area. I'd still like that border reduced a bit.
- Le Swap logo is perfect!
- background pattern behind Main Content is still distracting, i.e. main content will ...(

Updated:
-Main logo, fixed the kerning and designed a new "L", removed the bevel so that if a tagline goes below it (or over it even), it isn't overwhelmed. Also, I reduced the size so it's closer to the width of the column.
-Enhanced readability on the column and the wood planks ...(

- font: love the font!!! small exception: the first "L" in the le swap logo is too ornate. The 'S' in swap should be closer to the 'wap', i.e. kerned. "Search" and "Main Content" are beautiful and good sizes too. hats off!
- colors: OK, but ...(

This entry is optimized for 1024×768 resolution. It may look graphic heavy, but many of the elements are patterns. The column isn't currently, but I could make it one. Even the wood panels on the right are a pattern, albeit a large one. Please let me know, in specific terms, what ...(

yes! this is wonderful!
- logo is elegant-- a bit gothic, but it's balanced by the rest of the page.
- butterfly jumps off the page!
- pink color is perfect
one small change: the rose in the upper right looked like a whirlpool to me (perhaps I have Gustav on ...(

interesting!
- layout: unfortunately, this doesn't follow the intended site design, where the logo goes on the left, so alerts can go in the center. Also, the logo just isn't that important, that it should take up so much space.
- I like the curly trim everywhere-- definitely garden-y.

hi,
tried a different style - all is open source or
created by me - my understanding of sprites is that the pictures (any) are uploaded to a generator and that compiles the code like an image map?
thanks

neat!
- the lavender flowers are very nice, on both the left & right. kudos.
- the purple rose isn't so nice-- pink or red is better. The pink version and orange version were better.
- HTML form elements: have you tried to create the CSS that would create ...(

neat!
- the flower really pops off the page.
- background: this doesn't seem very "french garden" i.e. seems too formal.
- content area: again, it's time to handle the HTML form elements, e.g. pulldowns, etc. I recommend actual CSS styles on the existing HTML that I sent.
