- rose is much better re: cartoony-ness. Small but important bug I just noticed: the rose is "cut off" on the top.
- haha, the Le Swap font is very french, but perhaps it's more "moulin rouge" than "french garden"... (would be fun to build a moulin rouge themed site, but sadly, Le Swap isn't it...)
- main content. The inside decorations are cool-- make it look like stationary-- I need to think about this vs. the previous design (vines crawling above and below). At the risk of crying "more cowbell" I'm wondering if you can increase the amount of vines, i.e. use them to help 'frame' the content?
- main content bg color. please lighten enough that I can use black text on top of it. Please include some lorem ipsum text in there along with a photo of a house...
- right nav column. The stripes are neat, but the white looks like smears or like something spilled on it :-(. Maybe try lightening the color and just having the stripes? or trying a very subtle gradient with slightly darker stripes on top and lighter as they go? (I can implement this effect in CSS...)
- please add some fake menu options in the leftnav, so I can see how they balance the 'weight' of the rose.
- the left side of the rounded white bg behind the 'le swap' is too modern/urban (too rounded). Maybe try 'ripped paper' ?
