- the roses are beautiful! they really jump off the page! small thing: the roses are cut-off at the top.
- the logo font is cursive, but it's not a garden-y cursive: it's too slanted, the characters are spaced too far apart, etc. Let me know if this feedback is enough...
- overall, it looks more like "turn of the century american stationery" than "french garden" to me... think "rustic" e.g. less girly and slightly less playful-- tone down the purple pattern and the sprinkles on the right side. the squiggles in the leftnav could work if they looked like wrought ironwork (but again, think rustic, not gothic!).
- the home/about/contact will go at the bottom, i.e. won't be in the center.
